For those of you who want to stay on dry land, we recommend horseback trail riding.  Our son’s Luke and Justin know this land like the back of their hand. Experience the wonder of this land as you ride on gentle mountain horses.

Join us for a half day of horseback riding with snacks provided or full day of horseback riding with a delicious picnic lunch.  Or experience the true west as the cowboys did with a 2 or 3 day horse pack trip equipped with solar showers at camp.  Ok, not sure if the old cowboys had solar showers, pretty sure they took a dip in a nearby creek or mountain lake.

Fishing is in our blood, we love fishing, we catch fish, we have been quoted as “Fish Hunters” by Maverick Kickstart Outdoor Adventures Reality TV… If you love fishing, we are the river guides for you.  Whether you want to wade fish, or fish from the shore, or fish from the comfort of our dory type boat you will love fishing with our fishing guides with the knowledge they want to catch fish as much as you want to reel them in!  Don’t worry if you have trouble getting in and out of boats, as our new dory boat has a door on it, so you can easily walk in and out, instead of climbing in and out of the fishing boat.

If you have never fished for steelhead, we guarantee this is exciting fishing, these wily steelhead fish love putting up a fight, making this fishing experience the ultimate thrill when you reel in a feisty steelhead fish.  We offer spring steelhead fishing and fall steelhead fishing on the Salmon River.  During the summer we guide trout fishing in Idaho.

Salmon River fishing is great, but, sorry yes there is a but.  Weather conditions do guide our fishing season.   How much snow that falls during the winter and how fast the warm weather sets in melting the snow on our majestic mountain tops which then flows into the Salmon River determines our ability to fish.  We will keep the blog up to date on current fishing conditions.
